Reiki

I had my first Reiki treatment in 2014, completed my Reiki Level 1 & 2 in 2016 and my Reiki Master Level 3 in March 2018. Reiki has been an amazing addition to my life. In my search for who I am and who I want to be, Reiki made me realize, that the answer was to just BE and to "be your true self", to work on developing your strengths, rather than focusing on your shortcomings. It was my stepping stone into this magical world of self-healing and will therefore always have a special place in my heart.

Learning Reiki for self-healing is a great way to start your journey to a better, healthier, happier YOU.

Reiki Treatments

Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique and a form of energy healing. While the patient lies (fully clothed) on a massage bed, the Reiki practitioner tunes into the patient's energy field and channels energies to activate the natural healing processes of the body and to restore physical and emotional well-being. I generally work "hands off", hovering my hands a few inches above the body. In some cases I might feel that a slight touch would be beneficial. After a short introduction, the actual treatment lasts about 40-45 minutes. Some people fall asleep, others might just feel deeply relaxed. If the patient agrees, we would then discuss the treatment, using the Chakra System for pointers. This is optional, however. Please allow one hour for your appointment.

Reiki Courses

Reiki Levels 1 "Shoden"

Level 1 "Shoden" is all about self-healing. You learn to feel the energy, connect to it, focus your intention and use these skills for self-healing. At this

level, you receive four 'attunements', attuning you to the Reiki energy.  It's a beautiful introduction to the world of Reiki and your stepping stone into a more relaxed, stress-free life. This course is taught over 2 days (9.30 - 3.30). The 2 days are a at least a month apart to allow you to practice and deepen your understanding of Reiki and its principles. (Max 4 participants per course.)

Reiki Levels 2 "Okuden"/ Practitioner Course

Level 2 "Okuden" is all about furthering your self-development and deepening your Reiki practice with the option of becoming a Reiki practitioner. 

You are taught three symbols and mantras that help you focus your intention. Take your own healing to the next level and learn to confidently treat others. At this level, you receive another four 'attunements', strengthening your connection to the Reiki energy.  

This course is taught over 2 days (9.30 - 3.30). The 2 days are at least a month apart to allow you to practice and deepen your understanding of Reiki and its principles. The second day focuses on ethics of treating clients and we will look at the business side of working as a Reiki practitioner (insurance, client forms, data protection etc.) Course requirements: Reiki Level 1.

Reiki Level 3 "Shinpiden"/ Master Level

Level 3 "Shinpiden" is for those who truly want to commit to living their life in accordance with the Reiki principles taught in levels 1 & 2. You're taught a fourth symbol and mantra, receive further attunements and learn how to perform attunements. Completing this level allows you to teach Reiki to others. This is a very deep practice and you should commit to self-study through reading certain Reiki books (list provided on the course) and making Reiki  an integral part of your daily life. This course is taught over 3 days (9.30 - 4.30). The 3 days are usually a month apart to allow you to practice and deepen your understanding of Reiki, its principles and the attunements. The duration of the course also allows for your own personal growth and development, preparing you for your role as Reiki Master. You'll receive a comprehensive course book and any support needed throughout the three months. 

Course requirements: Reiki Level 2.
